You know typically, most drivers don't consider Subaru to be an off-road brand. People certainly know that many of the new Subaru vehicles in the current lineup are great for strapping bikes and boats to the roof and spending a weekend in the woods, but beyond that you typically don't imagine a Subaru fording water or bombing down a double track backwoods trail. Today we are singing a different tune thanks to a J.D. Power and Associates study that recently confirmed that Subaru is the third most off-roaded brand in America.
Trailing just behind Jeep and Ram, it appears that 29.5 percent of all Subaru vehicles are used on trails and dirt roads. That's a whole lot of back country adventure! In case you needed proof, here is a video of the new Subaru Outback tackling some trails in the woods. Enjoy!
