There are a bunch of criteria that go into determining the trade-in value of, say, a pre-owned 2021 Ford F-150, a 2018 Nissan Murano, or even a Dodge Durango purchased last year. Like all dealerships, we accept trade-ins of all makes and models. Criteria used to value your trade-in include:

- Model
- Model year
- Mileage
- Style/Doors
- Exterior/Interior Color
- Engine type/Displacement (liters)
- Transmission type
- Liens (if any)
- License plate
- State
- Vehicle Identification Number

Actual Cash Value (ACV) vs. Market Value
Actual cash value and market value are the same, but they differ from your vehicle's trade-in value. Your vehicle's ACV is the amount of money it might make if sold today. ACV can be more or less than the trade-in value.
ACV typically applies to the amount that insurance companies are most likely to pay out after your ride gets totaled. We only mention it here because drivers often use the phrases ACV and trade-in value interchangeably, but they are different. However, we use many of the same criteria to determine your car's trade-in value and its ACV:
