The 2022 Subaru BRZ boasts a new 2.4-Liter Direct-Injection Subaru Boxer engine producing 25 more horsepower than its predecessor. In addition, it produces 184 pound-feet of torque, an astounding 15% more than the previous model. This upgrade makes going zero to 60 miles per hour feel like being in a rocket ship.

The new Subaru BRZ features the classic sports car layout; the sporty engine at the front, with rear-wheel drive. Developed with technology derived from Subaru's illustrious history in motorsport, every time you take the BRZ for a drive to Verona, WI, with feel as exciting as a stage in the Corsica Rally. With the 2022 BRZ, you will have the option of either a six-speed manual transmission with a short-throw shifter or an upgraded 6-speed automatic with paddle shifters. As standard, the new Subaru BRZ comes with 18-inch alloy wheels and high-performance tires. The Subaru BRZ braking system is evolved for better stopping power and decreased braking distance.

Evolution By Design

The new Subaru BRZ featured a more aggressive exterior design to complement its aggressive performance. The BRZ's body and chassis are re-engineered for lightness with increased rigidity. With a lowered center of gravity and quicker steering, the Subaru BRZ is nimble and responsive.

The design evolution, though, isn't just on the surface. The new BRZ comes with a retuned suspension, featuring front MacPherson struts and a multilink rear suspension. The multilink rear suspension widens the rear vehicle track for improved control. Even when the roads get twisty, the 2022 BRZ stays glued to the road.

As with all Subarus, the 2022 BRZ offers you a wide assortment of safety features and technology. For the first time, it offers Subaru EyeSight Driver Assist with automatic Pre-Collision Braking. Furthermore, it will offer a lane-departure warning and lane-keeping assist.

Interior Infotainment Quality

To help you keep connected to the world around you, Subaru Starlink Multimedia features integrated Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and SiriusXM connectivity. With cloud-based apps, you can easily stream music, podcasts, and news in addition to the on-screen navigation. Accessing these apps is made easy by an upscaled 8-inch touchscreen.
