Subaru no longer offers a manual transmission option, so every new Impreza has a continuously variable transmission. However, the Sport and RS models get a modified version that includes an eight-speed manual mode with paddle shifters mounted on the steering wheel.
Base Impreza and Sport trim level models retain the four-cylinder, 2.0-liter engines that generate 152 horsepower and 145 pound-feet of torque. However, top-tier RS models gain a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that delivers up to 182 horsepower and 178 pound-feet of torque on the roads of Middleton.
Exterior and Interior Design
The four-door hatchback rides on 16- to 18-inch wheels. Sharp angles and character lines combine with gentle curves and an aerodynamic profile to give the Impreza a memorable appearance. LED headlights and fog lights are standard. Each trim level offers unique style features that Fitchburg shoppers can upgrade with optional add-ons.
Impreza's interior features multiple textures created by various materials. Different trim levels have monochrome or dual-tone cabins with contrasting stitching. The seating provides optimal comfort and support front and back.

Verona, WI drivers will enjoy proximity keyless entry even on entry-level Impreza cars. Each infotainment system sits high within the dashboard and has a 7.0-inch touchscreen.
