The engine is paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission, which provides a smooth driving experience without the need for shifting, while also keeping fuel economy at its highest.
Design
All Subaru Forester models have a sleek, yet rugged design that features a more upright styling than other crossover SUVs in its class, which leads way to more interior space for you to utilize. All models have raised roof rails that can accommodate any roof rack or cargo holder, along with body cladding around the bumpers and wheels to protect the body of your vehicle, and standard LED steering responsive headlights to see better at night, especially when turning corners. There's also 8.7-inches of ground clearance on most models, with 9.2-inches on the Forester Wilderness models.
Inside the cabin, you can enjoy comfortable seating for five passengers within 111.9 cubic feet of passenger volume, along with 28.9 cubic feet of cargo space behind the second row, and up to 74.2 cubic feet of maximum cargo space with the rear seats folded down.
