Back in October, Subaru of America, Inc. announced that they were launching the 2020 Subaru Loves Pets initiative. This nationwide project was to find a loving home for dogs that have found themselves alone in shelters waiting to be adopted. They specifically championed the adoption of dogs that tend to get overlooked by families, like older dogs, dogs with special needs, and dog breeds that tend to have a bad reputation.
Well now, Subaru is proud to announce that thanks to the nearly 519 dealerships, like Don Miller Subaru West, hosting pet adoption events, around 22,961 animals were able to find their forever homes. These events that took place throughout the month of October helped to support more than 500 shelters throughout the country.
