From November 19 to January 4, Buy a New Subaru and Support a Great Cause
Subaru of America's Share the Love Event is right around the corner. Now in its thirteenth year, the Share the Love Event lets customers select one of Subaru's charitable partners to receive a donation. Beginning November 19, 2020, for every new Subaru model purchased or leased through a participating Subaru retailer, Subaru will donate $250 to your choice of partner charities. These charities are The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals® (ASPCA®), Make-A-Wish®, Meals on Wheels America, and National Park Foundation.
Additionally, local Subaru retailers will be able to add their own hometown organizations. Over 630 Subaru retailers have selected more than 790 local charitable organizations across the United States. Since the Share the Love Event's inception in 2008, Subaru has donated more than $176 million to charities nationwide. And by the end of the event's thirteenth year, Subaru hopes to push that number past the $200 million mark.
Subaru recognizes that its privileged position means it has responsibilities that go well beyond selling cars, and the annual Share the Love Event is just one way the automaker strives to give back to its communities. In a recent press release, Subaru of America's Senior Vice President of Marketing, Alan Bethke, stated:
“We are honored to be more than a car company for all those who interact with Subaru by supporting the causes that are closest to their hearts. While this year has challenged us all, we look forward to being a force for good through the 2020 Subaru Share the Love Event.”
