Then again, as happy as we are that April is here, March certainly wasn't without its high points. Because now that last month's sales numbers are in, our favorite automaker sent winter off with a bang.
More specifically, Subaru went and sold 44,479 vehicles over the course of March. It was a 21% year-over-year sales increase for the brand and it was enough to bump their year-to-date sales totals up to 112,388 units. Not for nothing, but it's the first time in company history that they've passed the 100,000 sales marker during the first quarter of a year.
Needless to say, they're doing something right and the masses are catching on.
"We are reporting strong growth and sales across the country," says Bill Cyphers, senior vice president of sales at Subaru of America, Inc. "Our retailers continue to show dedication and commitment to make these record-breaking sales possible."1
